So the new Sookie Stackhouse book is out, I started to read it today. … And because it’s the last one of the series, I … I don’t know, somehow I predict is going to be a HUGE dissapointment. I just know it. *le sigh*

Dear tumblr,
From a usability standpoint, I hope you can see how five, almost six years worth of user experience of having those controls in the upper right hand corner can really throw the base off.
Even recent users of the tumblr platform expect controls in the upper right hand corner. For PC users, this is second nature. Mac users have learned to adjust from left to right, but controls in the upper portion of the action area is expected and conforms to generally accepted web design practices. The only place you don’t see this in use is in mobile web design (mobile Safari for example). In mobile, the controls are at the bottom as that is the orientation of the physical buttons on the device.
But I don’t need to explain that to you.
I really hope that this is a mobile tumblr glitch that slipped out into the wild on the desktop version. Otherwise…
Well. I think the images speak for themselves.
Sincerely,
Me.
WHY DOES THIS ONLY HAVE 6 NOTES? PEOPLE PLS
